Is Jesus a Christian?

SOME MUSLIMS, in the effort to DISCREDIT CHRISTIANITY, ask the question if the LORD JESUS is a CHRISTIAN.

Their question is largely due to GROSS LACK OF KNOWLEDGE and UNDERSTANDING of what a CHRISTIAN IS and WHO the LORD JESUS IS.

WHAT is a CHRISTIAN?

A CHRISTIAN is a FOLLOWER of CHRIST. He or she FOLLOWS CHRIST.

If that is so, then the LORD JESUS is NOT A CHRISTIAN because HE IS NOT A FOLLOWER. HE is the ONE who LEADS.

The word DISCIPLE means FOLLOWER.

The CHRISTIAN or DISCIPLE is among THOSE TOLD by the LORD JESUS to BAPTIZE ALL NATIONS and to OBEY ALL that HE TAUGHT and COMMANDED.

MATTHEW 24:19-20
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age."

Because the DISCIPLES of the LORD JESUS OBEY HIM, THEY were CALLED CHRISTIANS.

"and when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. So it was that for an entire year they met with the church and TAUGHT A GREAT MANY PEOPLE, and it was in Antioch that the DISCIPLES were first called "CHRISTIANS."

The DISCIPLES in ANTIOCH OBEYED the COMMAND of the LORD JESUS to SPREAD HIS TEACHINGS and COMMANDMENTS, THEY were RIGHTLY CALLED "CHRISTIANS."

If that is the BASIS of MUSLIMS, then THEY SHOULD TELL US if THEIR ALLAH is ALSO a MUSLIM.

If THEIR ALLAH is NOT A MUSLIM, then ACCORDING TO THEIR CRITERION, ISLAM is NOT the RELIGION of their ALLAH.
