Muslim error: Paul blasphemed in 1Cor 1:25

PLEASE allow me to highlight a MISCONCEPTION of MUSLIMS regarding ST. PAUL.

Let us read this POST of "BEN LANGCUYAN" who uses the PEN NAME "DEFENDERBEN,"
which he posted in the COMMENTS SECTION of MY ARTICLE PABLO NAGSINUNGALING AYON SA ROM 3:7?

read it out! 1 Corinthians 1:25 clearly point that Paul indirectly say that God has foolishness!

HERE is WHAT 1Cor 1:25 SAYS:
For God's foolishness is wiser than human wisdom, and God's weakness is stronger than human strength.


Is that BLASPHEMOUS?

NO. YOU JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND FIGURE OF SPEECH.

Also, AS WITH THE OTHER MISCONCEPTIONS that YOU HAVE, YOU FAILED to SEE the CONTEXT of PAUL'S WORDS.

So, YOU HAVE PUT YOUR SOUL and SALVATION IN DANGER just because YOU WITTINGLY or UNWITTINGLY MISUNDERSTOOD 1Cor1:25.


To EXPLAIN: Paul is REFUTING the CLAIMS of GREEK GENTILES who are trying to REFUSE BELIEF in the LORD JESUS CHRIST because HE WAS CRUCIFIED.

In 1Cor 1:23, Paul says:

"but we proclaim Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles."

See?

For GENTILES, it is FOOLISHNESS that GOD WOULD BECOME MAN and DIE ON THE CROSS.

So, it is NOT PAUL who SAID GOD was FOOLISH. That was the CLAIM of GREEK GENTILES.

What did PAUL DO?

HE USED this MISCONCEPTION of the GREEKS and TURNED IT AGAINST THEM.

That is WHY HE SAID in 1Cor 1:25:

For God's foolishness is wiser than human wisdom, and God's weakness is stronger than human strength.

What the APOSTLE is basically trying to say is that "IF GOD IS FOOLISH, then HIS FOOLISHNESS is WISER that ANY HUMAN WISDOM."

THAT is NOT BLASPHEMOUS but EVEN GLORIFYING GOD, whom PAUL was RAISING UP HIGHER than ANY HUMAN INTELLIGENCE or UNDERSTANDING.

And THAT is THE SIMPLE MEANING of 1Cor 1:25 that MUSLIMS, especially ISLAMIC REVERTS, FAIL to GRASP or UNDERSTAND.


It is SO SAD that YOU TURNED YOUR BACK on the ONE, TRUE GOD just because of YOU LACKED UNDERSTANDING of a VERY SIMPLE STATEMENT of ST. PAUL.
