Jesus Declared Himself as God (John 5:18; John 10:30-33)

A MUSLIM who calls himself Faiz Nicart said:
"There is not a single clear unequivocal statement in the complete bible where Jesus himself says that I am God or worship me."

OUR RESPONSE:
YOU DO NOT SEE any "unequivocal statement" because YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND the BIBLE.

The fact that JESUS SAID that GOD was HIS FATHER was a CLEAR DECLARATION by Him that HE WAS GOD.

The JEWS who HEARD JESUS say that GOD was HIS FATHER CLEARLY UNDERSTOOD it as JESUS DECLARING HIMSELF as GOD.

JOHN 5:18
For this reason the Jews were seeking all the more to kill him, because he was not only breaking the sabbath, but was also calling God his own Father, thereby MAKING HIMSELF EQUAL TO GOD.

Also, when JESUS SAID in JOHN 10:30 that "I and the FATHER are ONE" was a CLEAR DECLARATION that HE WAS GOD.

Again, the JEWS who HEARD HIM MAKE that DECLARATION CLEARLY UNDERSTOOD it as JESUS DECLARING HIMSELF as GOD.

JOHN 10:30-33
The Father and I are one."

The Jews took up stones again to stone him.

Jesus replied, "I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these are you going to stone me?"

The Jews answered, "It is not for a good work that we are going to stone you, but for blasphemy, because you, though only a human being, are MAKING YOURSELF GOD."

SEE?

JESUS DECLARED that HE WAS GOD and the PEOPLE of that TIME--especially the JEWS--UNDERSTOOD that HE WAS DECLARING HIMSELF as GOD.
