SOME Muslims are trying to make Christians irrelevant by citing Matthew 15:24.
They claim that Jesus was only sent to the "lost sheep of Israel" and not to Christians, who are not from Israel and not Israelites.
That supposedly takes away the claim of Christians to Jesus and His salvation.
These Muslims are wrong.
While Jesus says in Mt 15:24 that He was only sent to the "lost sheep of Israel," He also said in John 10:16 that He had "other sheep that do not belong to this fold (Israel)" and that He must "bring them also."
That was the reason why after fulfilling His mission to seek out the lost sheep of Israel, Jesus sent out His apostles to "Go and make disciples of all nations." (Mt 28:19)
The problem with Muslims is they rely on one or two verses that they take out of context. And that gives them a wrong understanding of what Jesus and the Bible say.
