Quran: Who Wrote it?

THIS is a response to Ben Langcuyan, a MUSLIM, who questioned the authors and writers of the Bible.

He was reacting to one of my arguments in a debate that it only takes FERTILE IMAGINATION (and NOT EDUCATION) to make stories.

Ben Langcuyan posted in my Timeline:
"Fertile imagination? LOL. Is that was used by the UNKNOWN author/s of the Bible? You really give us FUN.

Is the Bible spoken by your god or gods? >>------->>> https://www.facebook.com/groups/290967561020048?view=permalink&id=365875010195969&refid=18

The Quran had ONLY ONE SOURCE, your PROPHET MUHAMMAD. While he claimed that it came from God and was delivered by an angel, HE or ANY MUSLIM CANNOT SHOW PROOF to support his claim.

So, what is the source of Muhammad's claim if it is NOT SUPPORTED BY FACTS?

You dare to compare the Quran to the Bible?

The contents of the Bible ALL CAME FROM GOD, either DIRECTLY SPOKEN by GOD to TRUE PROPHETS or by GUIDANCE of the GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT.

It is GROSS IGNORANCE on YOUR PART to CLAIM that the AUTHORS of the BIBLE are UNKNOWN. The MAIN AUTHOR of the BIBLE is GOD. The HUMAN AUTHORS are GOD'S PROPHETS and PEOPLE, whom GOD'S SPIRIT INSPIRED to WRITE.

A. GOD'S ORDER FOR PROPHETS TO WRITE (Examples):
a. Exodus 34:27
"The LORD said to Moses: Write these words; in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel."

b. Isaiah 30:8
"Go now, write it before them on a tablet, and inscribe it in a book, so that it may be for the time to come as a witness forever."

c. Jeremiah 30:1-2
"The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD: Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: Write in a book all the words that I have spoken to you."

B. GOD GUIDED HIS PEOPLE TO WRITE:
a. John 16:13
"When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak on his own, but will speak whatever he hears, and he will declare to you the things that are to come."

c. 2Timothy 3:16
"All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,"
.
.
So, CLEARLY, NOT ONLY the PROPHETS were INSPIRED to WRITE but even THOSE WHOM GOD'S SPIRIT INSPIRED and GUIDED to WRITE.

Such INSPIRED WRITINGS have been FOUND and ACKNOWLEDGED by the CHURCH, whom GOD GAVE the AUTHORITY to DECLARE MATTERS of FAITH.

Matthew 16:18-19
"And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.

"I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."

Matthew 18:17-18
"If the member refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if the offender refuses to listen even to the church, let such a one be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector.

"Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."

Now, WHO WROTE the QURAN? And WHO TOLD THEM TO WRITE?

Muslim teaching itself ADMITS that GOD NEVER GAVE A BOOK to ISLAM'S PROPHET. The word QURAN itself denotes RECITATION, NOT WRITING. That is why CLAIMS in the QURAN that "THE BOOK" was "SENT DOWN" to Muhammad are CONTRADICTED by MUSLIMS THEMSELVES.

Now, WHO WROTE "The BOOK" of the Quran? NO ONE REALLY KNOWS.

Islam's HADITH (traditions of Muhammad) CLEARLY STATE that the BOOK of the QURAN was COLLECTED and COMPILED from VARIOUS TEXTS written by UNKNOWN WRITERS. (Sahih Hadith Bukhari 60:201, 61:509)

According to Zaid bin Thabit Al-Ansari:
"So I started locating Quranic material and collecting it from parchments, scapula, leaf-stalks of date palms and from the memories of men (who knew it by heart). I found with Khuzaima two Verses of Surat-at-Tauba which I had not found with anybody else."
.
.
It was FIRST ORDERED COMPILED by ABU BAKR, the second caliph of Islam, amid the PROTESTS of its COMPILER (Zaid bin Thabit), who said that NOT EVEN MUHAMMAD ATTEMPTED to COMPILE IT. (Sahih Hadith Bukhari 60:201)

Zaid said:
"By Allah, if he (Abu Bakr) had ordered me to shift one of the mountains (from its place) it would not have been harder for me than what he had ordered me concerning the collection of the Qur'an. I said to both of them [Abu Bakr and Umar], "How dare you do a thing which the prophet has not done?"
.
.
Later, it was found that the RECITATIONS and WRITTEN TEXTS were CONTRADICTORY so the THIRD CALIPH of ISLAM, UTHMAN, had the QURAN REWRITTEN and the CONTRADICTORY TEXTS BURNED. (Sahih Hadith Bukhari 61:510)

According to Anas bin Malik:
"Hudhaifa was afraid of their (the people of Sham and Iraq) DIFFERENCES in the recitation of the Qur'an, so he said to 'Uthman, "O chief of the Believers! Save this nation before they DIFFER ABOUT THE BOOK (Quran)."

Uthman said:
"Uthman then ordered zaid bin Thabit, 'Abdullah bin AzZubair, Said bin Al-As and 'AbdurRahman bin Harith bin Hisham to REWRITE the manuscripts in perfect copies. 'Uthman said to the three Quraishi men, "In case you disagree with zaid bin Thabit on any point in the Qur'an, then WRITE IT IN THE DIALECT OF QURAISH, the Qur'an was revealed in their tongue."

Uthman added:
"Uthman sent to every Muslim province one copy of what they had copied, and ORDERD ALL THE OTHER QUR'ANIC MATERIALS, whether written in fragmentary manuscripts or whole copies, BE BURNT."

So, WHO ORDERED the MAKING of "THE BOOK" of the QURAN? Was IT GOD or was it even MUHAMMAD?

NO. Muhammad's HADITH says IT WAS ONLY the CALIPHS ABU BAKR and UTHMAN.

WHO WROTE the TEXTS that were COMPILED to MAKE "THE BOOK"?

NO ONE KNOWS NOW.

So, WHAT are YOU TALKING ABOUT, BEN?

  1. and how muhammad (piss be upon him) can be sure if the message really came fron god (maybe from satan?).

he did not even verify if the message came from god, when the first revelation came to him.

muslim can argue that he was very scared that time, but how about the next series of revelation?

The Quran contains at least 109 verses that call Muslims to war with nonbelievers for the sake of Islamic rule. Some are quite graphic, with commands to chop off heads and fingers and kill infidels wherever they may be hiding. Muslims who do not join the fight are called 'hypocrites' and warned that Allah will send them to Hell if they do not join the slaughter.

Unlike nearly all of the Old Testament verses of violence, the verses of violence in the Quran are mostly open-ended, meaning that they are not restrained by the historical context of the surrounding text. They are part of the eternal, unchanging word of Allah, and just as relevant or subjective as anything else in the Quran.

Most of today's Muslims exercise a personal choice to interpret their holy book's many calls to violence according to what their own moral preconceptions find justificable. Apologists cater to their preferences with tenuous arguments that gloss over historical fact and generally do not stand up to scrutiny. Still, it is important to note that the problem is not bad people, but bad ideology.

Unfortunately, there are very few verses of tolerance and peace to abrogate or even balance out the many that call for nonbelievers to be fought and subdued until they either accept humiliation, convert to Islam, or are killed. Muhammad's own martial legacy - and that of his companions - along with the remarkable stress on violence found in the Quran have produced a trail of blood and tears across world history.
