Tunay na relihiyon paano makikilala?

MAGANDA po itong tanong ng BALIK ISLAM na sumusubok MANGARAL dito sa ating blog.

Sabi niya, "There are so many sects, cults, religions, philisophies, and movements in the world , all of which claim to be the right way or the only true path to Allah. How can one determine which one is correct or if, in fact, all are correct?"

How can one determine which one is correct or if, in fact, all are correct?"

  1. THE RELIGION OF ISLAM
The first thing one should know and clearly understand about Islam is what the word “ISLAM” in itself means. The religion of Islam is not name after a person as in the case of Christianity which was named after Jesus Christ. Buddhism after Gotama Buddha, Confucianism after Confucius, and Marxism after Karl Marx.Nor was it name after tribe like Judaism after the tribe of Judah and Hinduism after the Hindus. Islam is the true religion of “Allah” and as such, its name represents the central priciple of Allah’s “God’s” religion; the total submission to the will of Allah “God”. The Arabic word ‘Islam’ means the Submission or Surrender of one’s will to the only true God worthy of worship “Allah” and anyone who does is termed a “Muslim”. The word also implies “peace” which is the natural consequence of total Submission to the will of Allah. Hence, it was not a new religion brought by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in Arabia in the seventh century, but only the true religion of Allah re-expressed in its final form.
Islam is the religion which was giveb to Adam, the first man and the first Prophet of Allah, and it was the religion ao all the Prophets sent by Allah to mankind. The name of God’s religion, Islam was not decided upon by later generations of man. It was chosen by Allah Himself and clearly mentionedm in His final Revelation, the Qur’aan,Allah states the following:
“This day have I perfected your Religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your Religion” [Surah Al-Naa’idah 5:3]
“If anyone desires a Religion other than Islam (submission to Allah [God] never will it be accepted of Him” [Surah Aal’imraan 3:85]
“Abraham was not a Jew nor a Christian; but an upright Muslim.” [Surah Aal’imraan 3:67]
Nowhere in the Bible will you find Allah saying to Prophet Moses’ people or their descendants that their religion is Judaism, nor to the follower of Christ that their religion is Christianity. In fact, “Christ” was not even his name, nor was it Jesus! The name “Christ” comes from the Greek word CRISTOS which means the annoited. That is, Christ is the Greek translation of the Hebrew Title “MESSIAH” The name “Jesus” on the other hand, is the Latinized version of the Hebrew name ESAU.
For somplicity’s sake, I will however continue to refer to Prophet Esau (PBUH) as Jesus. As for His religion, it was what he called his followers to. Like the Prophets befoere Him, he called the people to Surrender their will to the will of Allah; (which is Islam) and He warned them to stay away from the False gods of Human imagination.
According to the New Testament, he taught his follwers to Pray as follows; “Yours will be done on earth as it is in Heaven”.

  2. THE MESSAGE OF ISLAM
    Since the total submission of one’s will to Allah represents the essence of worship, the basic message of Allah’s devine religion, Islam is the worship of Allah alone and the avoidance of worship directed to any person, place or thing other than Allah. Since everything other than Allah, the Creator of all things, is Allah’s creation; it may be said that Islam, in essence calls man away from the worship of creation and invites him to worship only its Creator.He is the only one deserving man’s worship as it is only by His will that prayers are answered. If man prays to the tree and his prayers are answered, It was not the tree which answered his prayers but Allah who allowed the circumstances prayed for to take place. One might say, “That is obvious,” however, to tree-worshippers it might not be. Similarly, prayers to Jesus, Buddah, or Krishna, to Saint Christpher, or Saint Jude or even to Muhammad, are not answered by them but are answered by Allah. Jesus did not tell his followers to worship him but to worship Allah. As Qur’aan states;
“and behold! Allah will say; O jesus the son of Mary! Did you say to men, worship me and my mother as God besides Allah? He will say: Glory to you I could never say what I had no right (to say) [Surah Al-Maidah-5:116]
Nor did he worship himself when he worshipped but rather he worshipped Allah. This basic principle is enshirened in the opening chapter of the Qur’aan, known as Surah Al-Faatihah; verse 4
“You alone we worship and from you alone do we seek help”.
Elsewhere, in the final book of Revelation, the Qur’aan, Allah also said:
“And your Lord says; Call on Me and I will answer your (prayer).” [Surah 40:60]
It is worth noting that the basic message of Islam is that Allah and His creation are distinctly different entities. Neither is Allah His creation or a part of it, nor is His creation Him or a part of Him. This might seem obvious, but man’s worship of creation instead of the Creator is to a large degree base on the IGNORANCE of this concept. It is the belief that the essence of Allah is everywhere in His creation or that His divine being is or was present in some aspects of His creation, which has provided justification for the worship of creation though such worship may be called the worship of Allah through his creation. However, the message of Islam as brought by the prophets of Allah is to worship only Allah and avoid the worship of his creation either directly or indirectly.

  3. In the Qur’aan Allah clearly states:
“For We assuredly sent amongst every people a prophet, (with Command) worship me and avoid false gods” [Surah Al-Nahl-16:36]
When the Idol worshipper is questioned as to why he or she bows down to the idols created by men, the invariable reply is that they are not actually worshipping the Stone Image, but Allah who is present within it. They claim that the Stone Idol is only a focal point for Allah’s essence and is not in itself Allah! One who has accepted the concept of the presence of God’s being within His creation in any way will be obliged to accept this argument of Idolatry. Whereas, one who understands the basic massege of Islam and its Implications would never concede to Idolatry no matter how it is retionalized. Those who have claimed divinity for themselves down thriugh the ages have often base their claims on the mistaken belief that Allah is present in man. They merely had to assert that although Allah according to their false beliefs, is in all of us, He is more present in them than in the rest of us. Hence they claim, we should submit our will to them and worship them as they are either God in person or God concentrated within the person.
Similarly, those who have asserted the godhood of others after their passing have found fertile ground among those who accept the false belief of God’s presence in man. One who has grasped the basic message of Islam and its implications could never agree to worship another human being under any circumstances. God’s religion in essence is a clear call to the worship of the Creator and the rejection of creation-worship in any form. This is the meaning of the motto Islam:
“Laa Elaaha Illallaah” [There is no god but Allah]
Its repetition automatically bring one within the fold of Islam and sincere belief in it guarantees one Paradise. Thus the final Prophet of Islam is reported to have said, “Any one who says; There is ni god but Allah and dies holding that (belief) will enter Paraside” (Reported by Abu Dharr and collected by Al-Bukhaaree and Muslim.)
It consist in the submission to Allah as one God, yielding to Him by obeying His commandments, and the denial of Polytheism and Polytheists.

  4. THE MESSAGE OF FALSE RELIGION
There are so many sects, cults, religions, philisophies, and movements in the world , all of which claim to be the right way or the only true path to Allah. How can one determine which one is correct or if, in fact, all are correct? The method by which answer can be found is to clear away the superficial differences in the teachings of the various claimants to the ultimate truth, and identify the central object of worship to which they call, directly or indirectly. False religions all have in common one basic concept with regards to Allah. They either claim that all men are gods or that specific men were Allah or that nature is Allah or that Allah is a figment of man’s imagination.
Thus, it may be stated that the basic message of false religion is that Allah may be worshipped in the form of His creation. False religion invites man to the worship of creation by calling the creation or some aspect of it God. For example, prophet Jesus invited his followers to worship Allah but those who claim to be his followers today call people to worship Jesus, claiming that he was Allah!
Buddah was a reformer who introduced a number of humanistic principles to the religion of India. He did not claim to be God nor di he suggest to his followers that he be an object of worship. Yet, today most Buddhist who are to be found outside of India have taken him to be God and Prostrate to Idols made in their perception of his likeness.
By using the principle of identifying the object of worship, false religion becomes very obvious and the contrived nature of their origin clear. As God said in the Qur’aan:
“That which you worship besides Him are only names you and your forefathers have invented for which Allah has sent down no Authority: The Command belong only to Allah; He has Commanded that you only worshpip Him; that is the right Religion, but most men do not understand “ . [Surah Yusuf 12:40]
It may be argued taht all religion teach good things so why should it matter which one we follow. The reply is that all false religions teach the greatest evil, the worship of creation. Creation-worship is the greatest sin that man can Commit because it contradicts the very purpose of his creation. Man was created to worship Allah alone as Allah has explicitly stated in the Qur’aan:
“I have only created Jinns and Men, that they may worship Me” [Surah Zaareeyaat – 51:56]
Consequently, the worship of creation, which is the essence of Idolatry, is the only unforgivable Sin. One who dies in this state of Idolatry has SEALED his fate in the next Life. Tjis is not an opinion, but a Revealed Fact Stated by Allah in His final Revelation to man:
“Verily Allah will not forgive the joining of partners with Him, but He forgive (sins) less than that for whomsoever He wishes”. [Surah An-Nissa – 4:48 & 116]

  5. THE UNIVERSALITY OF ISLAM
Since the consequences of False Religion are so Grave, the True Religion of Allah must be universally Understandable and Attainable, not confined to any people, place or time. There can not be conditions like Baptism, Belief in Man, as a Savoiur ETC! ETC!, for a believer to Enter Paradise. Within the central principle of Islam and in its defination, (the surrender of one’s will to God) lies the roots of Islam’s Universality. Whenever man comes to the realization that Allah is One and Distinct from His creation, and submits himself to Allah, he becomes a Muslim in body and Spirit and is Eligible for Paradise. Thus, anyone at anytime in the most remote region of the World can become a Muslim, a follower of God’s Religion, Islam, by merely rejecting the worship of Creation and by turning to Allah (God) alone. It should be noted however, that the recognation of and submission to Allah requires that one chooses between right and wrong and such a choice implies accountability. Man be held responsible for his choices, and as such he should try his utmost to do good and avoid evil. The iltimate evil being the worship of His creation along with or instead of Allah. This fact is expressed in the Final Revelation as follows:
“Verily those who believe, those who follow the Jewish (Scripture), the Christians and the Sabians any who believe in Allah and the last day, and work righteousness shall have reward with their Loed; They will not be overcome by fear nor grief” [Surah Al-Baqarah -2:62
“If only they had stood by the law, the Gospel, and all the Revelation that was sent to them from their Lord, they would have enjoyed happiness from every side. There is from among them a party on the right course; but many of them follow a course that is evil”. [Surah Al-Maa’idah-5:66]

  6. THE ENEMY OF JESUS CHRIST

THE ORIGIN OF THE WORD “CHRIST”

To understand clearly who is the enemy of Jesus Christ we should have to know the meaning of the word “CHRIST”
Christ is and English word derived from the Greek word “Cristos.” “Christos” is a translation from the Hebrew word Messiah which literally means “anointed.” In arabic it is “Maseeh” and in Aramaic, “”Meshiha” In Hebrew, Aramaic and Arabic (the semitic languages) that title is given only to a man or a creation-not to God or Creator. No one can anoint God! No one is Higher than God: A person who anoints must be higher than a person who is being anointed. In brief, “Christ” means “anointed.” It may be a person or a thing. In linguistic meaning, “Maseeh” is a noun or a name. However this title or name is given exclusively only to Jesus, the son of Mary in the Qur’aan.
Therefore, whoever says that Christ was a man, has perceived a correct understanding of its true meaning. Anyone who says that Christ is God, man-God or God-incarnate is an opponent of Christ Jesus and and an AntiChrist as well. “Anti” means against, opposed, contrary, for example; Anti-Arab, Anti-Muslims, Anti-Filipino, Anti-Christ.

DID JESUS COME IN THE FLESH, AS A SPIRIT (GOD), OR AS GOD-MAN?

The Bible say, (2 John 1:7 NIV) “Many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is a deceiver and the AntiChrist.
(1 John 4:1-3 KJV) [verse 1] “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirit whether they are of God; because many false prophets are gone out into the world. [verse 2] “Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every Spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God; [verse 3] “And every Spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that Spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is in the world.”
(John 3:6 KJV, NRSV) “What is born of the flesh is flesh and what is born of the Spirit is spirit.”
(Rom 9:5 NRSV) “To them belongs the patriarchs, and from them, according to the flesh, comes the Messiah,....”
(Acts 2:22 KJV) “Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by Miracle and Wonders and Signs, which God did by him....”
(1John 4:2 NIV) “This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God; Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flest is from God.” If anyone believes that Jesus Christ is a mere human being but endowed with miracles from God, then he is a man of God. You and I are born (come) in the flesh, as well as Jesus: The Bible testifies, “According to the flesh, come the Messiah....” Rom. 9:5 In fact, there are two groups that go in extreme position then say, “Jesus is God in Human form,” or “Jesus is a man, yet at the same time God” and the other who say that “Jesus” was an illegitimate (bastard) son of Mary.” Jesus never said those words! Priests, Ministers, Nuns, Pastord, Reverends,Rabbis, etc. Are telling those lies. God has warn these people:
“When Jesus... said: I have come unto you with wisdom, and to make plain some of that concerning which ye differ. So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. Lo! God, He is my Lord and your Lord. So worship Him. This is a right path. But the factions among them differed. Then woe unto those who do wrong from the doom of a painful day.” [Az-Zukhruf] 43:63-65.

  7. APPARITION IS THE HANDIWORK OF THE ENIMIES OF CHRIST

“....if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. For false Christ and False prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to decieve even the very elect—if that were possible. So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the desert,’ do not go out; or ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it.’ Matthew 24:23, 24 & 26.
The Christians are not contented to say; “we have seen Christ.” Rather, they say, “Christ in us,” “we have seen Jesus’ mother (Mary),” or “the Holy Spirit spoke to me.” Jesus had warned about these people because they are Anti-Christ and hence his enimies. Jesus said; “For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.” (Matt 24:5)
We Muslims neither use the name of Christ when we perform anything nor we call him “Lord”. We say, in the name of Allah Most Gracious, Most Merciful (Bismillaher Rahmanir Raheem). But Christians when they eat, baptized, marry, or any performance they say; “In the name of Jesus”. Jesus said, Many will say to me Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name? Did we not drive out demons in your name? Did we not do mighty deeds in your name? Then I will declare to them solemnly, “I never knew you. Depart from you evil doers.” (Matt 7:22-23) Jesus was referring to the Christians, or to anyone who call “Lord” other than the sole creator of the universe. Because Jesus foretold them that there is only One Lord, who is in heaven. In the Bible, Mark 12:29: “The most important one, answered Jesus, in this: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is One.”

    BEWARE OF THE RELIGIOUS LEADERS

The Pope, Priests, Rabbi, leaders, Pastors, Reverends... like to be greeted in public and in their churches (synagogues) and would occupy the most important seats: Even as late comers, they would want to sit in front. Look! What did Jesus say unto them? “Beware of the teachers of the law. They like to walk around in flowing robes and love to be greeted in the marketplaces and have the most important seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at banquets.” (Luke 20:46)

  8. WHO DEVOURS THE WIDOWS’ AND ORPHANS’ WEALTH?

(Luke 20:47) “They devour widows’ houses and for a show make lengthy prayers. Such men will be punished most severely.”
    Shintoism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity and Judaism, encourage the orphans and widows to offer what they have, with the pretext that gods or God needs their offerings. In Islam, God orders us to those who are deserving;
“...Kindness unto parents, and unto near kindred, and orphans, and the needy, and unto the neighbor who is of kin (unto you) and the neighbor who is not of kin and the fellow travelers and the wayfarer and (the slaves) whom your right possess. Lo! Allah loveth not such as are proud and boastful.” (An-Nisaa) 436
There are people pretending to be good shepherds but they are wolves in shining garments. The poor, orphans, widows and the innocent are used for their devilish motives. False religions are propagated to appear in the path of righteousness, but in reality their leaders drink, eat and live abundantly at the expense of innocent members! Tithes, Offerings, Contributions, Cermonial payments are the elements which those leaders organize even under critical conditions.
Islam is the only religion (brought by Ibrahim, Moses, Jesus, Muhammad, peace be upon them all), which gives justice and mercy to the poor and needy. Those unfortunate people (poor and needy) are the ones who should receive help according to Islam.

WARNING FROM THE BIBLE, AGAIST THE ENIMIES OF JESUS CHRIST (PBUH)

“They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.” Romans 1:25
Finally, an anti-Christ is a person who does not believe that Jesus Christ is a mere human being. People wh say that Jesus is a man-God, or God in human form (incarnate) are the enimies of Jesus. Jesus said (John 8:40) “but now you are trying to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. This is not what Abraham did.”
Cyrus (559-529 B.C.) a pagan king of Persia was Meshiah.-Isaiah 45:1. Meshiah means anointed. It could be man, pillar, basin, or a place. For firther study please read: (Gen. 31:13, Lev. 4:3, 2Sam. 5:17, Exodus 40:11, Dan. 9:24)

So, MAHALAGA pong ITANONG NATIN kung "SAKSI BA ang NAGPAKALAT ng PANINIWALA ng isang RELIHIYON?" 11. The Monotheism

    (Oneness of God)

The Oneness and uniqueness of God (Allah) is the message of all prophets and messengers. Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, down to the last and final messenger of Allah, Muhammad, peace be upon them. None of them called to himself or to anyone or things to be worshipped other than the Creator and Sustainer of the Heaven and the Earth.

In reality, when we talk about the Oneness of the Creator, we are only talking an indisputable fact. This fact is natural and is already infused into our souls, there is no way to deny it.

“so set thou thy face truly to religion Hanif (of Islamic Monotheism), Allah’s Fitrah (Natural Way) with which He has Created mankind: No change let there be in the religion of Allah; that is the straight Religion: but most among mankind know not” Qur’aan 30:30

    There are many evidences that can show us the impossibility of the existence of more than one God. Here are just two;

1.) The faultless system of the Universe: The uniformity and compatibility of the orbit, planets, etc In this marvelous harmony is strong evidence. This tells us the One who made this wonderful system is Alone, and can not be two or three. Multiplicityu can never create such an amazing system. Particularly if this multiplicity concerns the most important topic in the Universe, the topic of Creation:
“Had there been therein (in the heavens and the earth) gods besides Allah, Then verily, both would have been ruined. Glorified is Allah, the Lord of the Throne, (High is He) above all that (evil) they associate with Him!” Qur’aan 21:22

2.) The Ability to Create: anyone who claims Himself to be as a God, must be able to prove His claim through His ability for creation. The One Whom can create something from something else (like the fruit from the tree) and can create something from nothing, therefore will be (god) The Creator. We should know that anyone or anything other than Almighty God is the creation of God. All creatures are created by the Creator.

“Is then He, who Creates as one who creates not? Will you not then remember?” Qur’aan 16:17

“...Or do they assign to God partners who created the like of His creation so that the creation (which they made and His creation) seemed alike to them? Say: God is the Creator of all things, and He is the One the Irresistable.” Qur’aan 13:16

For anyone who is interested to know the clear truth about the Oneness of our Creator and he is anxiously seeking his salvation on the Day of Judgement, the signs of the One and only True God are many and Clear in the Universe.

“Is not He (better than your so-called gods) Who Originates Creation, and shall thereafter repeat it, and Who provides for you from heaven and earth? Is there any god with Allah? Say; “Bring forth your proofs, if your truthful.” Qur’aan 27:64

  12. Mystification of the Trinity

Many are the Strange and Puzzling things that we may see, read or hear about. Philosophies, Creeds, Terms, Names, etc. Here are a few; Sphinx, Kryptonite, and Griffin. Did you ever hear such names? Do you know what these things are?

Sphinx: A fabled winged monster having a woman’s head and a lion’s body and known for killing anyone unable to answer its Riddle.

Kryptonite: Rocks from the storybook planet Krypton, Superman’s only weakness.

Griffin: A powerful methological animal of the ancient Babylonians. A combination of lion, eagle and serpent, it was considerably more powerful than the sum of its parts.

Hopefuly you believe in the above mention terms; otherwise it may be more difficult to enlighten you on the follwing point.

    Trinity: Trinity it is a concept that means, Three different Gods in one or Three different Gods are united in one body. As according to the Bible;

“For there are three that bear record in Heaven, the Father, the Word and Holy Ghost; and these three are one.” 1 John 5:7 King James version

    From a mathematical concept, this means: (1+1+1) = 1 (not 3?)

Does this seems ambiguous? The following issue will be more confusing: When the Chrictians pray to the symbol of Trinity, to whom do they really address their prayer? Is it addressed to God Almighty? Or to the Son? Or to the Holy Ghost? Or all of them? Now we find this issue will lead us to yet another important Question; Among these Thhree Gods, who is worthy of Worship? Is it God the Father, or the Son, or the Holy Ghost? According to the Ten Commandments of the Bible, the First of all the Commandment was:

“WORSHIP NO GOD BUT ME” Exodus 20:3

This clearly shows us that none has the right to be Worshiped other than God Almighty. What about the other two? Are they Mighty too? Christians say that they are worshipping One God, yet this One becomes Three and these Three are One. What a Mystery it is! Actually we have nothing to say about such explanations, except that they are FUZZY MUZZY! (which means very mysterious indeed)

The Creator and Sustainer has favoured man and blessed him with a Mind! By accepting such concepts, Man commits an Injustice against God Almighty. Also by accepting what Contradicts his Faith and his Mind, the reality that there is no God except One God. This God cannot be two gods or three gods, even according to the explanation of Christians. All the signs and proofs totally point to this Faith: The One, true indisputable fact, that in this Universe there is no God but the Creator alone.

“It is He (Allah) who is the only Ilah (God to be worshipped) in the heaven and the only Ilah (god to be worshipped) on the earth. And He is the All-Wise, the All-Knower.” Qur’aan 43:84

“And your Ilah (God), La ilaha illa Huwa (there is none who has the right to be worshipped but He), the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.” Qur’aan 2:163

    For further explanation about the reality of the Trinity, let us read the Holy Qur’aan, the last and Final Revalation of God Almighty (Allah), the most Authentic book on the earth. Let us read what will clarify for us the clear and bright truth about the unsubstantial concept of the Trinity;

“Surely, disbeleivers are those who said: “Allah is the third of the three (in a Trinity).” But there is no Ilah (God) but One Ilah (God, i.e. Allah). And if they cease not from what they say, a painful torment will befall on the disbeleivers among them.” Qur’aan 5:73

If we really do respects our minds, we have to submit them to the will of Whom Alone Created them, to Whom Alone deserves to be worshipped, to the Creator and Sustainer of the heavens and the earth, to Allah the Almighty. Exalted is He above the great falsehood that they say.
